Overview
Below is the schedule of deadlines for the upcoming year for your school’s faculty promotion and tenure reviews, reappointments and non-reappointments. Please communicate and coordinate with your departments to ensure timely processing for decisions regarding these actions. If you have any questions regarding tenured/tenure track (TTT) appointments, please contact Brad Blunt. For questions on non-tenure track (NTT) appointments, contact Elle Ristow.
Ad-Hoc tenure reviews for faculty hires can occur on a rolling basis. Please contact Brad Blunt to discuss the appropriate submission deadline.

Notification Requirements for Untenured Faculty whose contract is ending on 6/30/2026 (2)

(2) Schedule of notification of reappointments and terminations for visiting and adjunct appointments, no written notice of termination is required.
(3) The School and/or relevant academic units will bare the costs (if any) of failing to meet these requirements.
(4) When faculty members hold multiple contracts with different appointment lengths, the notification requirement is based on the longest contract period. For example, if a Lecturer receives a two-year contract followed by a three-year contract, the notification requirement is 12 months.
