Enrollment Instruction for Faculty in the Shepherd School of Music

Below is an explanation of how to enroll in the Faculty Enhanced Phased Retirement Program (FEPRP). You may complete the process electronically (recommended) or by paper/hardcopy if you prefer.

Electronic Option RECOMMENDED Paper Option
1. Express Your Interest Please discuss your interest with your dean. Once you are ready, please CLICK HERE to submit the FEPRP Letter of Intent. The LOI is due 2/26/2026. Please note that this form requires your confirmation that you have shared your interest in the FEPRP with your dean and that they are supportive of your decision.
2. VPAA provides details Upon receipt of the FEPRP LOI, the VPAA will reply to you and your Dean with your Z-score details. VPAA will also initiate the FEPRP Election and Agreement Form in Adobe Sign for your and your Dean's electronic signatures. Upon receipt of the FEPRP LOI, the VPAA will reply to you and your Dean with your Z-score details. VPAA will also send you a link to download the FEPRP Election and Agreement Form.
3. Complete the Election Form The FEPRP Election and Agreement workflow will send the form from you → Dean → VPAA, Provost's Office, General Counsel, and HR automatically. You must hand-deliver or scan & email the form to each of these offices in sequence: you → Dean → VPAA, Provost's Office, General Counsel, and HR
