Please note: If the committee decides to hire a foreign national, you will need to provide an explanation of why the selected candidate was more qualified than the other interviewed applicants and describe the selection process. It is recommended to use a numeric rating system for hiring decisions, such as Faculty Search’s 5-star rating system, and maintain detailed records for all applications using tags, particularly for non-selected candidates. This will help prevent last-minute issues if the hired individual needs a visa.
